Making a hedgehog feeding station

Help hedgehogs by making them a feeding station where they can eat in safety.

Do it:

Mar, Apr, May, Jun, Jul, Aug, Sep, Oct

To help your local hedgehogs, it’s a good idea to provide them with extra food at key times of year. This is best placed inside a feeding station, where the hedgehogs will be out of reach of predators such as foxes, and the food will be inaccessible to cats. Kate Bradbury shows you how to make one from a wooden crate, with advice on how large to cut the entrance hole, how to add an internal partition, and where to place the finished feeding station in your garden.D

Don't forget to use safety goggles or glasses when using power tools.

Many thanks to Sue Kidger, a hedgehog rehabilitator, for her kind help in making this video.
